"It's Gairloch and Loch Ewe Action forum (GALE) are holding this event - it is our fifth year!
We sell Fair-trade items from Created (Tearcraft) www.createdgifts.org throughout the year here in the Tourist Information Centre, and then hold an event around Christmas time to promote their new catalogue and goods which in turn provides meaningful work for poor communities in poor countries.
This year Tracy McLachlan and Nicky Hayes are joining us with crafts from the Mtitu Foundation and fair-trade beverages.
As part of the fundraising GALE will organise volunteers to run a tea room with homebaking. It will run from 10.30am to 12.30pm and will be held in the Church of Scotland hall, Gairloch (that's the one opposite the golf course.)"
