Dornoch Craft Guild are running their third annual Fibre Fest on the 16th-18th March 2012.
It takes place at the Dornoch Social Club and the programme this year will be:
Friday 16th - Junior workshops - silk paintings of local wild life with Gaelic titles.
Saturday 17th - Batik workshops - with Mary Styrou London based textile artist 10.00-4.00
Sunday 17th - Felt making workshops – with Mary Styrou . 10.00-4.00
Exhibition and demonstrations will take place and will include - The Moray Firth Gansey project – The wool Shed Aberdeen – Ross Stitch group – Fungus Dyeing – Weaving and spinning - peg loom – sales of prepared fleeces and craft materials.
